Shiseido is not only one of the largest cosmetic companies in the world, they are also one of the oldest. They came to Las Vegas to celebrate their 140th anniversary and brought us out to capture all the fun with some photos, and to add some fun with our photo booth!

We jumped right into it with a group shot consisting of the top reps from all over the world, nearly 70 woman lined up all dressed in Shiseido red dresses, fantastic. After the awesome awards ceremony was complete, things got kicked off with some photo booth action. It never fails to start the party!

Premier UNLV is the welcome party for all incoming freshman and returning Rebels. It is put on each year by the Rebel Pride Council at our glorious University of Nevada Las Vegas. As a former Alumni I haven’t been to one of these in... we’ll just say it’s been over a decade, probably closer to two decades actually. Sheesh! Anyways, this year the RPC called on us to provide some entertainment for the students with our large party photo booth. Since I bleed Scarlet & Gray, I was more than excited to accommodate them. One thing I can say about this event is, they don’t mess around anymore. There was tons of entertainment, free food, live bands, DJs and of course an awesome photo booth with special addition ALL Rebel Pride Props. By the end of the night I was so hyped, I didn’t know which I wanted to do more, go buy season tickets to the Runnin’ Rebels or enlist in classes. That was one heck of a party and I can’t wait to be apart of the growing tradition. #ScarletGrayEveryDay

Lastly, a big shout out to my man DJ Michael Toast for keeping us rockin’ all night long.

Recently, I was contacted to do a senior photo session. Senior shoots are one my favorites since high school students tend to be a bit more adventurous than some of my usual clients. Right off the bat she told me that she was super energetic and quite outdoorsy, and she wanted the shoot location to reflect that (it also meant this was going to be fun!) As we ran through the highlights of Las Vegas’ most nature friendly locations; Mt. Charleston, Dry Lake Beds, Red Rock, Valley of Fire, Lake Mead, she finally mentioned Nelson, NV. While all of those spots are all amazing, I have not yet had the opportunity to shoot in Nelson and I jumped at the chance.

I have heard a lot of great things about this little ghost town, but I had no idea just how cool it would be. I was there for over four hours and could not even touch the surface of how much there was to work with out there. From the airplane wreckage to the dozens of vintages cars, there is not a single spot that wouldn’t make for an awesome shot. I was certainly not disappointed as you can see from the shots below. Can't wait to get back there soon!
