Some Frequently Asked Questions:
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR OFFICIANT?
Of course! Reverend Judy Irving is an ordained non-denominational Las Vegas minister licensed to perform wedding ceremonies, renewal ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, same-sex, gay and LGBT ceremonies. She was ordained in 1997 and brings with her 28 years of experience as well as a sense of dignity, compassion, love and grace to every ceremony. If Judy is unavailable or if a bilingual officiant is requested, we also partner with the fabulous officiants at Peachy Keen Unions.
HOW FAR AHEAD DO WE NEED TO BOOK?
We suggest six to eight months in order to get the time and date you want. Earlier is recommended for popular dates.
WHAT DOES THE CEREMONY ENTAIL?
In our elopement ceremonies, the officiant includes a reading on marriage, a vow exchange, a ring exchange and closing blessing.
CAN WE HAVE A SPECIAL RITUAL?
Yes, sand ceremonies, breaking of the glass, hand fasting etc., will incur a $50 fee, paid directly to the officiant on the day of your ceremony. Note, there may limitations on these options at certain locations.
CAN WE WRITE OUR OWN VOWS?
Certainly! This is a lovely addition to any ceremony. Just let the officiant know you want to do so and they'll give you the opportunity at the appropriate time during the ceremony.
WHAT IF IT’S JUST THE TWO OF US AND WE DON’T HAVE A WITNESS?
The photographer will be happy to act as a witness.
WHAT IF WE ARE TWO DIFFERENT FAITHS OR NON-DENOMINATIONAL?
No problem, we're happy to customize your ceremony as you need.
